BCP (Business Continuity Plan)
This plan determines the activities to be carried out during normal times as well as the methods and means for business continuity in an emergency, in order to enable the continuation or early recovery of core business operations while minimizing damage to business assets in the event of a company being faced with an emergency such as a natural disaster, major fire, or terrorist attack.
震災や自然災害の多い日本では、これまで大企業を中心に取り入れられていましたが、新型コロナウイルスの流行以降、中小企業からも注目され始めました。
突然発生する緊急事態に対応できなければ廃業の危機に追い込まれてしまうということを身近に感じた方も多くいるのではないでしょうか。
弊社では2011年の東日本大震災をきっかけにBCPについての重要性を再認識し、今日まで取り組んでまいりました。
BCPはただ計画を立てるだけではなく、BCPマニュアルの策定や運用、見直しのサイクルを回すことが重要となります。
Characteristics of BCP
Identify core businesses that should be prioritized for continuity and restoration
Establish target recovery times for core business in the event of an emergency
Discuss with customers in advance the level of service you can provide in an emergency
Prepare alternatives for business locations, production facilities, and procurement of supplies, etc.
Communicate with all employees about business continuity
